It began with the opening ceremony, which brought together leading authorities in Latin American tourism, followed right after by a lot of business and networking been done. Then there was the knowledge available and the fresh initiatives, such as the Women in Travel programme, which boosts the empowerment of women in tourism, and the launch of Travel Forward, which puts technology in tourism on the agenda.
