Take care of those Thanksgiving travel blues with some apps, websites and tech that will have you concentrating on things that matter in life: laying comfortably comatose on a living room floor after dinner thanks to rampant overeating.

Here is our brief but wondrous list of things we are using this holiday season as the airports get congested and the roads get packed.

The weather on your phone is increasingly frightful, but the information on AccuWeather is so delightful.

According to a press release, the website and mobile browser’s “proprietary 45-Day Forecast is available at AccuWeather.com web and mobile sites to provide detailed, localized forecasts with Superior Accuracy for holiday planning.”

Getting updates on weather is also as easy as downloading the app.

Power:

Make sure you have portable power with you, because that planned layover may just turn into an extended stay.

There is nothing worse than losing your music, video or social media feed thanks to poor planning.

Mophie makes a solid battery charger. But really any that you can get your hands on will help.

Caffeine:

Stress relief may just come in the form of an instant upper, like that found in a shot of espresso. We do not condone anything harder, including eggnog lattes.

Hotspot:

If money is no concern, you can drop some coin on a mobile hotspot, turning your road trip into a mobile Internet party.

Waze:

You will benefit from using Waze even if traveling a short distance. Save valuable time, which means a longer gustatory romance with the turkey.

Get updates on your respective airport and how on time your flight is, because it will be completely on time. Maybe. We hope.

My TSA gives you updates on the status of your security checkpoint as well as a breakdown of what you can and can’t bring through.

Let’s say you are about to embark on your very own «Planes, Trains and Automobiles» adventure. Well, this app will help keep track of it all.

GasBuddy:

Now you can see rather quickly if you can push your car another 100 miles or if it’s a good idea to pull over immediately and gas up, then possibly chow down on a little snack.

RoadTrippers:

You may be on a road trip that never seems to end, so you might as well use this app to see some sights along the way.
